李黃睿(Juan Alberto Ruiz Casado)現任成大玉山學者布洛薩教授的博士後研究員。國立陽明交通大學社會研究及文化研究博士，西班牙馬拉加大學和平、衝突、教育及人權文化碩士。此前，他曾在聯合國安全與安保部擔任初級安全分析師、為一家國際服裝公司擔任印度和巴基斯坦的國際採購員、在中國學校擔任英語教師、在西班牙軍隊擔任傘兵等工作。此外，作為一名自由攝影師，他走遍了100多個國家，在眾多國際平台上發布了圖片和文章。

李黃睿的專業領域於當代政治理論和話語分析，特別是民粹主義和民族主義的概念化及兩者與民主的關係。過去研究主題聚焦於爭取民主自決的社會運動與地區，尤其是加泰隆尼亞、臺灣、新疆和香港的政治發展，在期刊、書籍和其他學術/非學術平臺上皆發表了不少文章。目前研究主題為美中之間的霸權鬥爭，以及臺灣位居其中的政治角色。

Juan Alberto Ruiz Casado is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of History of NCKU. He has received his PhD in Social Research and Cultural Studies at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, and his master’s degree in Culture of Peace, Conflict, Education and Human Rights at the University of Málaga (Spain). Previously, he has worked as Junior Security Analyst at the United Nations Department of Safety and Security, as international purchaser for India and Pakistan for an international clothing company, English teacher in a Chinese school, and as paratrooper in the Spanish Army, among other jobs. Moreover, as a freelance photographer he has travelled to over 100 countries, publishing images and articles in a multitude of international platforms.

His area of expertise is contemporary political theory and discourse analysis, with an emphasis on the conceptualization of populism and nationalism and their relationship with democracy. He has researched movements and regions striving for self-determination, with focus on the political developments in Catalonia, Taiwan, Xinjiang or Hong Kong, topics on which he has contributed articles in journals, books, and other academic and non-academic platforms. He currently researches the hegemonic struggle between the United States and China, in which Taiwan is inserted.
