In particular, we shall discuss the idea of data-oriented approach that is applied to modern science. Some typical AI algorithms shall be reviewed such as Perceptron algorithm, which is an algorithm that can help to find non-closed form solution by converging iterations. Other focused algorithms include least squares, message passing (belief propagation), the power method, etc. The methods are related to both differential equations and linear algebra.
