In fact, both finite difference and finite elements methods have been revised by the help of AI or computational approaches in the modern days. The AI or computational approaches can help to given clues when solving a PDE and provide intuition with or without visualization on the function or solution space. Some general concepts where computational approaches can help to solve mathematical problems shall also be briefly mentioned.
